ABOUT

When Marina left Venezuela to head to the cold, foreign city of London, a teacher had some parting advice for her. “You have a really good imagination—use it!”

Ever since then, making up stories has been the solution to a lot of Marina’s problems. They were a safe place to go to as she fell asleep, a place to hide in when she felt anxious, and something to grow with as she got older.

Seventeen years later, in the thick of a career as a mental health specialist, Marina needed another change, another city, another way to grow. So, she packed up, left England to move to New York, and started using her imagination again.

Now, Marina dedicates herself to writing scorching, character-driven stories that explore life through strangers’ eyes—strangers that live on paper, waiting for you to discover them.

In her books, you’ll find kink, angst with an edge of humour, complex backstories and, of course, a happily ever after.
